Installation Steps

1Download the Apple Silicon .dmg disk image above.
2Double-click the .dmg to open it, then drag the Skraib icon into your Applications folder.
3Launch Skraib from Applications or Spotlight. Because it is signed with Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, it launches immediately without Gatekeeper security blocks.
Intel Mac note: The current beta releases are compiled natively for Apple Silicon. Intel x64 packages are in development. If you are using an Intel Mac, you can run Skraib with full AI features directly in your browser using our Web Workspace.

Installation Steps

1Download the Windows 64-bit setup .exe installer above.
2Run the installer. It installs per-user without requiring administrator credentials, and automatically configures the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime if needed.
3If Microsoft Defender SmartScreen displays ("Windows protected your PC") during public beta, click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed.
Windows SmartScreen notice: During public beta, our Microsoft Authenticode signing certificate is in the verification pipeline. If SmartScreen shows an unrecognized app prompt, click More info then Run anyway. The installer is cryptographically signed for background updates.

Native Linux standalone packages are currently being validated. In the meantime, the full Skraib suite—including Super Scribe, review tools, and space agents—runs with zero installation in Chrome, Firefox, or any modern web browser.
